Chinese horoscope

The origin of Chinese horoscope comes from very interesting legend about Nefrit emperor and twelve animals. The legend talks about big feast where emperor invited the representatives of all kinds of animals. It was organized in honor of all beings, their unity and equality. After the ceremonial dish, the emperor decided that he will give the control over one year as a gift to every kind of animal.

Even if the date of birth is important for Chinese horoscope, Chinese signs are associated with particular years, not to particular month how we know it from sun signs of Zodiac. This astrology is based on five elements: Fire, Wood, Water, Earth and Metal. These elements have their own meanings and then they combine with the signs of Chinese horoscope.
